The establishment of teaching quality monitoring and guarantee system is an effective way to ensure the central position of teaching work and continuously improve teaching quality. Our college has always insisted on carrying out regular or irregular teaching inspection, which has played a positive role in improving teaching quality and promoting the construction of teaching style and study style. Therefore, in order to further improve this work and persist as a system for a long time, this regulation is hereby formulated.

1. Teaching Regular Meeting  

The college establishes a regular teaching meeting system once a week. It is presided over by the vice president in charge of teaching work, attended by the directors in charge of teaching work of each department and professional teaching and research section, and the heads of related functional departments. Timely convey the relevant policies and meeting spirit, study and report the problems in the teaching process, timely make decisions and take measures to improve the teaching work

2. Teaching Inspection

The college organizes and carries out teaching inspection. Teaching inspection is divided into regular inspection and irregular spot check. Regular inspection is divided into the beginning, the mid-term and the end of each semester. Irregular spot checks are organized according to the problems found in the teaching operation. The Academic Affairs Office of the college will report the results of the regular and irregular spot checks, supervise and urge the relevant departments to rectify the problems in the inspection, and report the rectification effect.

Through teaching inspection, we can timely grasp teaching trends, exchange information, find problems, take measures to mobilize teachers' enthusiasm for teaching and education, and participate in teaching reform; encourage students to study hard, work hard, and establish a good learning atmosphere; strengthen management, and strictly enforce various disciplines and systems to improve teaching quality.

3. Contents of Teaching Inspection

3.1 Teaching works of college leaders

(1) The implementation of the cultivation plan.

(2) The construction of the teaching staff.

(3) The situation of teaching research activities carried out by the department and teaching & research office.

3.2 Teaching and learning culture

(1) Teachers' compliance with teaching discipline.

(2) Teachers are rigorous in their studies, model for others, teach and educate people, and care about students.

(3) Teachers' writing of lessons and teaching plan and implementation of the syllabus.

(4) The status of teachers' guidance, answering questions, correcting homework, and implementing relevant regulations in examinations.

(5) Students' study status, learning discipline, etc.

3.3 Evaluation of teachers' teaching quality in the classroom

(1) Students' evaluation of teaching.

(2) Teachers' evaluation of learning and self-evaluation.

(3) The leading cadres, teaching supervisors and peer experts check and listen to the classes.

3.4 Graduation project

(1) The organization and implementation of the graduation project (thesis).

(2) Whether the topic, the opening report, the literature review, the translation and the quality of the content of the graduation project (thesis) meet the requirements of "Chongqing University Graduation Project (Thesis) Management Measures", etc.

(3) The status of teachers guiding the graduation project (thesis) work.

(4) Progress of students' graduation project (thesis) at each stage.

(5) Qualification examination of students' graduation project (thesis) defense and cross-evaluation of graduation project (thesis).

3.5 Teaching management

(1) Management of students' achievements, academic records, electronic registration, etc.

(2) Analysis of course examination, archiving of examination papers, etc.

(3) Complete the implementation of the teaching management tasks assigned by the university.

4. Inspection Methods

The combination of self-examination with the spot checks of the college. the comprehensive inspection should be combined with the single inspection.
